Jason Buckmeier

Jason has a truly unique background of experiences that, combined with his ability to connect with people across all spectrums, has contributed to him being a leader and innovator in the space of healthcare IT consulting.  Jason started off his journey as a physical therapist.  From rehabbing his share of ACL patients to his work with physical therapy students, he always felt drawn to the idea that our connection between patient and provider can be improved.  This idea transformed into a entrepreneurial venture with his best friend that resulted in the first web-based application in the physical therapy industry.  The start-up provided for him a unique insight, allowing him to see from a perspective of analyst, developer, trainer, implementor, and user.   That experience led him to opportunities to help organizations implementing large, complex Electronic Health Records.  For over 10 years he has worked with such organizations in various roles, from analyst to builder to project manager and now as a consultant. For over 6 years Jason has provided valuable consulting services to multiple organizations, often leading and advancing some of the most challenging projects.  He thrives in this complexity and delivers the desired outcomes by leading teams through the choppy waters to the calm shores.  He has been, and always will be, an advocate for how IT in healthcare can help transform practices and the way in which they care for patients.
